3 Quality Scottish self-catering cottages set in a stunning location, within Scotland's First National Park . Frenich Farm has 53 private acres of land in the centre of Scotland's famous “Trossachs”, where the highlands and the lowlands meet. This spectacular area is rich in mythology and folklore and was the inspiration for Sir Walter Scott's novels, Lady of the Lake and Rob Roy.

Frenich is situated at the top of Loch Chon, which provides wondrous unforgettable views for nature lovers and is the ideal place to relax and get away from it all. In this beautiful location you can go at your own pace, fish, canoe, bird watch, paint or take fabulous photographs in an area which is steeped in history.

Frenich is also central to a whole host of wonderful walks, cycling, hill climbing and trekking routes. The West Highland Way and four of the Munro mountains including Ben Lomond are very accessible from the farm. Inversnaid and Stronachlacher within 5 miles, nearby Lochs are Loch Ard, where there are opportunities to dinghy sail and take part in a variety of organised water sports. Loch Katrine, where you can take a trip on the famous Walter Scott Steamer, Loch Arklet, and of course Loch Lomond.The only Lake in Scotland , Lake of Mentieth,well known for its trout fishing and the Inchmahome Priory.

Each Cottage has its own distinct character. We have Crystal Cottage which is a one bedroom, The Bothy which has two bedrooms and Pine Lodge which has three bedrooms. You can choose to enjoy the peace and tranquillity of Frenich, relaxing in our quality cottages, equipped and decorated to a high standard, built in original 19th century stone buildings. Outside you have the use of a barbecue and outside seating area where you can take pictures of the highland cows, in fact you will have nothing to worry about other than to relax and enjoy the breathtaking area and stunning views we have to offer. Also you can use Frenich as a springboard for sightseeing day-trips to a multitude of locations within easy reach. Kinlochard
– Local shop open 8am till 8pm, The Wee Blether Tea room, Clay pigeon shooting, Go Forth Water Sports, Forest Hills Hotel and Spa.

Aberfoyle – Local Supermarket open 8am-10pm, Queen Elizabeth Forest Park, David Marshall Lodge, Scottish Wool Centre and a variety of Restaurants, Tea and Gift Shops and the 18 hole Aberfoyle golf course.
